Updated: Oct 30, 2022
Virtual mobility in Katowice, Poland, 04/04/2022 - 06/04/2022
In this virtual mobility students got acquainted with the history of Poland from the partner countries and learned about the situation in Europe after the Second World War - including the division into two political and military blocs An important aspect after the Second World War was European integration and the coexistence of all Europeans through the spread of democracy.
During the mobility activities, as part of the project, the stereotypes that appear in Europe in relation to individual nations (both positive and negative) were discussed with the students. Thanks to the conversations, they acquired the ability to debate and reflect on their own stereotypical thought patterns.
Students also used their acquired knowledge of Europe to create a board game about Europe and their countries. They also drew pictures of two legends - from the region and from the country, which were later used for the final product - the calendar. On the last day the students knitted mats in the colours of their flags and the final products were placed on the padlet platform.
