Dressing Nazaré

The workshop Dressing Nazaré aimed to let the students know how to sew traditional costumes and dress the dolls as local women have done for ages as a source of income. In this case, the doll was dressed in a party outfit composed of 7 skirts, an embroidered apron, a lace blouse, a headscarf, and a cape. The partnership with the Museu da Nazaré, whose collaborators taught the students how to make the traditional pouch, a purse that women use to keep their money, was especially important. In this workshop, all delegations were able to show their typical dolls.
